Kenneth Blanchard Ph D. - Introduction

It is a pleasure to introduce today's speaker, Dr. Kenneth Blanchard.

Few people have impacted the day-to-day management of people and companies more than Ken Blanchard. A prominent, gregarious, sought-after author, speaker and business consultant, Ken is the world's #1 advocate for respecting human worth in organizations.

Ken's impact as a writer is far reaching. His phenomenal best-selling
book The One Minute Manager, coauthored with Spencer Johnson, has sold more than nine million copies worldwide and is regarded as one of the most successful business books of all time. Just about every book Ken has either written or coauthored made best-sellers lists: From The Power of Ethical Management, with Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service, and Gung Ho with Sheldon Bowles to Everyone's A Coach, coauthored with Don Shula; former head coach of the Miami Dolphins. Ken also coauthored a book about bringing spirituality into the workplace, Leadership by the Book, coauthored with Bill Hybels and Phil Hodges that was released in the fall of 1999. His latest book, coauthored with Sheldon Bowles, Big Bucks is starting to hit best-seller lists.

He is also a visiting lecturer at his alma mater, Cornell University, where he is a trustee emeritus of the Board of Trustees.
