Ross Shafer - Travel/Show Details

Travel Requirements:

AIRFARE: Ross has a flat air travel expense of $1,500.00 that covers his air travel transportation.

HOTEL: Ross needs (1) room for each night of the event. The room should be billed on the client's master account for the room cost + tax.

*MORNING EVENTS: If the event is in the morning, Ross will fly in the night before and leave the next day; after the event.

*EVENING EVENTS: If the event is in the evening, in most cases Ross will fly in before noon on the day of the event and fly out the
next day. If you need him there earlier, we can most likely accommodate you.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: It is up to the client to secure a car (not a limo) or shuttle to bring Ross to and from the event. If he takes a cab, Ross will bill the client for the cost of the cab plus a 20% tip.
Performance Requirements:

A/V REQUIREMENTS:
LAPTOP SUPPORT: Ross brings his own Apple laptop computer and RF Wireless Remote Control. He will bring the VGA dongle for connection to your projector. Depending on the program he will use either PowerPoint or Keynote to project his slides. AUDIO: A wireless microphone is preferred. Ross also requires computer audio because he incorporates many embedded video clips within his program. IMAG: If you use Image Magnification, Ross needs one screen devoted to his slides. The slides are used as punch lines and timing effects so they need to be on the screen 100% of the time. WHAT ABOUT LOADING HIS SLIDES ON YOUR SYSTEM? Ross has licensed video clips and pictures so he does not load his program on any other computers or systems. These days, funny video clips easily find their way onto YouTube and other sites. If that should happen Ross would lose access and rights.

STAGING:
Lighting should be set as so the "performance area" is brighter than the "audience" area. Ross uses a great many facial expressions that need to be clearly seen.

IMPORTANT
RE: AFTER MEAL EVENTS.
So as not to compete with the wait staff clearing the plates and
glassware, Ross won't be asked to perform until the all of dishes are
gone. Normally, this is after dessert has been served to everyone.

Also, it is important that the Bar be closed during the performance.
